		<description>You are totally right! Five corporations control most of the media. Media consolidation totally limits the minority&#039;s ability to get a message out there. Especially when that message is at odds with a sponsor&#039;s message.

My confidence is declining. The FCC is reviewing policies, and there are some good activist organizations out there, such as Commercial Alert. I am proud to have signed their petition to stop covert commercials on TV!

The &quot;public&quot; airwaves system is broken; it can&#039;t be fixed. But those minority messages will still be heard. The internet is the new medium for those messages, and these messages are being shared with increasing effectiveness.</description>
